Fish Fry is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It's easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. They are fine and they look wonderful. Fish Fry is something which I've loved my whole life.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have fish fry using 12 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Fish Fry:

  1. {Get 500 gm of Fish Fillets (Bhetki/Basa)I’ve used the Bhetki Fillets.
  2. {Take 1 tbsp of Ginger Garlic Green Chillies paste.
  3. {Make ready 1 tbsp of Onion Paste.
  4. {Make ready 1 tsp of Salt.
  5. {Prepare 1 tsp of Black Peppercorns Freshly Cracked.
  6. {Take 2 tbsp of Fresh Lemon Juice or White Vinegar.
  7. {Get 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  8. {Make ready 1 tbsp of Fresh Coriander Leaves Paste.
  9. {Take 2-3 Cups of Bread Crumbs.
  10. {Prepare 2 of Egg.
  11. {Make ready 2 tbsp of Cornflour.
  12. {Make ready 300 gm of Cooking Oil For Deep Frying.

Steps to make Fish Fry:

  1. First up: In a large, flat mixing bowl/tray- Marinate the washed & cleaned fish fillets- with some salt, black peppers, red chilli powder & lemon juice/vinegar- apply it generously all through the fish fillets, set aside for 30 mins alike with the lid on.
  2. Now, in a blender jar- Add in the aforementioned chopped onions, ginger, garlic & green chillies, coriander & pudina leaves, a bit of salt & black peppers & blend it to a smooth paste/mixture.
  3. Now, coat the fish fillets or pieces into the same quite generously all over it- Cover it with the lid & keep it in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hrs time (overnight is always good) & in the meanwhile, prepare the rest other items for deep frying the fish pieces.
  4. In a large plate- Take the measured Bread Crumbs & in another comparatively flat bowl or deep plate/dish- break open the eggs, add in some salt, black peppers, red chilli powder & the cornflour & mix it well together until nicely combined & becomes smooth & fine batter.
  5. Now, in a heavy bottomed & flat frying pan/wok/saucepan: Add in the measured oil for deep frying the fish fillets- One by one or if the pan is big enough then, two/three together but I suggest not to clutter it for a better crispy texture at the end.
  6. Keep the flame on the low-medium, else the outer cover will brown very fast while the fish inside shall remain uncooked or under/cooked hence, one needs to hold enough patience & perseverance while frying them very gently, carefully & cautiously & not turn it often.
  7. When one side is absolutely dark golden brown- flip gently & cautiously to the other side & allow this side also to cook/fry evenly until dark golden brown, once done- Transfer it to a separate plate, pre lined with a kitchen towel to soak the excess oil from it.
  8. Fry all the fish fillets/pieces in batches- As many are therein.once done, place them all together on a large plate with a kitchen towel:napkin..
  9. Serve it piping hot with some greens/salads, sauces/dips or chutneys of your choice & relish with family and friends..
  10. Garnish- the way you feel like & most importantly it goes well together with some evening hot beverages as in: Tea/Coffee & alike..
